This cache is located on Gragareth Fell to the west of Whernside
and Ingleborough in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It's a great
location on a ridge from which you have great views of Morecombe
Bay, the Lake District and two of the Three Peaks. Park on the road
to Dent leaving Thornton in Lonsdale near Ingleton. Follow the well
marked track over the limestone pavement to the Turbary Road then
tramp directly uphill (over grassy tussocks) to Gragareth Fell Trig
- the cache is not far from here! If you're feeling really
ambitious you could tramp another couple of miles further to
another of my caches, 'Sykogenic' which is located near Crag Hill
Trig. There's an awesome 'First to Find' medallion enclosed for one
lucky cacher.
And there's more
.......
If you liked this cache there are many
more
'Sykesfamily' caches in similar,
awe inspiring locations scattered around the Yorkshire Dales
National Park and surrounding valleys. So grab your walking boot,
pack your sandwiches, leave your troubles behind and head for the
hills .... Enjoy!!
