Geocache Description:

This cache is not on school grounds and is in a high muggle area - thus the rating. It is a 35 mm film cannister.

Recently my fifth grade class at Beulah Elementary participated in an Amazing Race-type/geocache/gpsr activity. The activity required them to perform tasks in science, social studies, math and physical education in order to receive the coordinates to the final cache. The students had to use their gpsr's to find the list of tasks to even get started. Each team had two gpsr's operators, a photographer and a recorder. They had a ball!!! We had 8 or so technology integrators from the county and a PE teacher helping the small teams of 3-4 three students.

This cache is in honor of the fantastic teamwork and manners the students exhibited during the activty. It is also in honor of all the technology integrators and teachers that pitched in to make this happen.
