Hjølmatunet - Vedalsfossen
Hjølmatunet er eit klyngjetun med gamal busetnadstradisjon. Bilveg eller tursti. Enkel servering juli mnd.
Ta av frå Turistveg Hardanger Rv.7 i Øvre Eidfjord til Hjølmo.
Den doble Vedalsfossen er synleg omlag 4 km frå Øvre Eidfjord. Den bratte serpentinvegen går vidare opp til Hjølmaberget,
eit ypparleg utgangspunkt for fjellvandring eller kortare turar.
Vegen er ikkje eigna for campingvogner og bussar med meir enn 6 meter lengde. Valurfossen i Valurdalen: Elva Veig kastar seg utfor eit 272 m høgt stup. Fottur omlag 1 time frå Hjølmaberget.

Turn off the Rv 7 road in Øvre Eidfjord in the direction of Hjølmo and the road into Hjølmadalen. 

The “double” Vedalsfossen waterfall becomes visible on the right-hand side, about four kilometres from Øvre Eidfjord. 

Hjølmotunet is an old cluster of farms, 500 metres higher up. Hjølmaberget is the highest parking place along the road, and an ideal starting point for short and long mountain walks. Driving is not recommended for vehicles over six-metres-long.
