Geocache Description:

A very quick cache and dash. This is one of a series of caches placed along the old Kintore to Alford railway route.Bring a pencil.

Whilst driving to research the line, I had gone along the Tom’s Quarry Road, but as the gates lock at night [and it is a busy track with the quarry lorries throwing up loads of dust] I decided to take a different approach for the next part of the series. On doing so I passed by this long disused quarry, now beautifully settled as a wildlife area. You also great a great view of what was the railway that cut through this part of the land, and that is now the base of the road to the quarry.

Small cache, bigger than a film cannister little swaps and tb's will possibly fit. Bring your own pencil.
