Geocache Description:

Maastomikrokätkö Heinolan keskustassa. Basic microcache in Heinola, Finland.

Paimenkallio on saanut nimensä siitä, että sieltä lähti aikoinaan paimen viemään kaupungin lehmiä laitumelle. Siitä muistona on kallioseinämässä reliefi. Paimenkallion kupeessa on vielä säilynyt vanha asuinrakennus, jonka sijoituksesta kallionsyrjään henkii sen ajan ihmisten kunnioitus luontoa kohtaan.

Kätkö saattaa olla löydettävissä talvellakin ainakin vähäisen lumen aikana. Varovasti kielekkeillä. Putoaminen kiellettyä! Kalliolle johtaa raput A. F. Airon kadun puolelta.

Paimenkallio was named Shepherdrock, because that was a place for shepherds, which took towns cattle to grassland. To remember that there is a relief.
Cache is possible to find during winter too, if there isn't too much snow. Be carefull edge of the cliffs. Steps from A. F. Airon street.
