St Bartholomew
Church Micro 44 is St Bartholomew in Burstow which dates back to the 12th century.
While checking out this church I bumped into the caretaker who was more than pleased to show me around and was very proud of the wood construction in the bell tower. He tells me that when the bells are rung you can see the tower moving from outside.
I was also shown some other things inside the church that caught my eye so much so that asked to borrow a pen to scribble down some numbers, I don’t suppose he new what I was doing and I’m afraid I cant tell you either
To find this cache have a look for a small plaque related to Victoria on the Lych Gate which has a date at the bottom the last four numbers are ABCD
The cache is at
N51.0C. (D-4) (B-4) B W000.0D. (B-5) ( B+A-C ) (D-3)
The cache has a log book only and hand
made micro churches for the first few finders but no pen so please
bring one with you
