Geocache Description:

Columbia State Forest really gives me a bushwack high. So in honor of this forest I have named this cache accordingly. Without the GPS one could get very lost in this particular section if you cannot follow the sun or are directionally challenged. This is not your marked trails cache.

As mentioned for other caches I have placed in the forest:
This cache depending on the route you take will provide an interesting variety of terrain. I have provided some suggested parking (your choice or not) but basically depending on the latest weather and resulting conditions plus your sense of "adventure" the approach could be interesting. The concept is to use your comfort level for the terrain and determine your approach. Warning: Shoes and boots have been lost. This section is not open to hunting but do not take that as gospel for all hunters to know that.
A reminder.... this is truly a bushwhacking cache - do NOT expect to find nice trails to follow or even direct routes depending on the time of the year and the recent weather.
Note: The road to the parking area is NOT maintained in the winter. Access is possible but you may have to park at a snowplow created road block.
