Gravel hiking trail to cache location. Cache is a film container with a logbook. High muggle area.
A prehistoric city once stood in this area over 1000 years ago. The center section of the city was surrounded by a wall made out of logs, which had guard towers place at equal interval along its length. The wall was covered with a plaster made with dirt, prairie grass and water. The wall was built for protection and a social barrier. The elite lived on the inside of the wall and the commoners lived on the outside.
You are standing at a reconstruction of the wall. It was built in the exact location of the original wall.
This geocache is placed on Historic Preservation Agency managed property with permission.
