To log a “Found it” for this cache in addition to finding the cache and signing the logbook you must have:
Found one hundred NGS Benchmarks listed on Geocaching.com.
Demonstrate this logging requirement any way you see fit: reference your profile, text in the log, attach an image, create a Bookmark list, etc.
Geocaching.com has a great set up for searching for and logging NGS Benchmarks around the country, and it can be very fun. If you're not into it, we'd advise you to get into it! But be aware that the die-hard benchmark hunters prefer that a photo of the benchmark be loaded to your online log; for a benchmark to count for this challenge you MUST load photographic evidence to each benchmark page.
The cache is located about 50 feet west of the above listed coordinates. Why not use the actual coordinates of the cache? Because the listed coordinates are for a benchmark! Enjoy! (And if you have a favorite benchmarking experience please let us know about it!) By the way, the log is pink. Bring a Sharpie.
