Geocache Description:


This is a straight forward cache. We have located the cache in a spot that has great views which extend from the Hutt valley to the heads of Wellington harbour.

The area is a large flat grassed park and is a favorite for dog exercising, there are also trails for mountain bikes to explore. However we just enjoy sitting and marveling at the vista whilst watching the ships come and go all while contemplating the forces of nature that have created this landscape.

The cache is a 2l Sestema container and is very travel bug and geo-coin friendly.

First to find honors go to Huhugrub who were able to make the find within hours of the cache going active. They were closely followed by nzcoozer who chose to make this one the second cache for the day and narrowly missed out on the first to find honors. Interestingly ADV was first to find in the dark with a late night arrival and commented that the co-ords were spot on. Well done to all teams and happy caching.
