Geocache Description:

The sandy straight is the right path. Deposit at the base of the bank and try not to take any sand dollars with you.

This cache is part of our introduction to Cute Japanese Character’s series. The caches are all located around the Gold Coast, Queensland. These caches are aimed at families so they should be easy to find, access and they can be completed in any order.

American Name: Hello Kitty
Japanese Name: Haro Kitei

Hello Kitty is the best-known of many fictional characters produced by the Japanese company Sanrio. Her real name is Kitty White. She was born in London on the 1st November, 1974. Hello Kitty has a mum, dad and twin sister called Mimi. Since 2004 she has even had a pet cat of her own called Charmmy Kitty and a pet hamster called Sugar. Hello Kitty has a boyfriend named Daniel. She is very happy and cheerful and loves to go outside, play in the park, or the forest. Her favourite sport is tennis. Hello Kitty loves to brush her teeth with strawberry toothpaste; she just cannot resist the sweet strawberry smell.

Something else you may not know is that Hello Kitty has held the position of U.S. children's ambassador for UNICEF since 1983.
