Kaper's Cache Traditional Cache

Another cache in the Chena Lakes Recreation Area. (But there is always room for one more.)
We placed this cache on our daughter’s 27th birthday, so we named it in her honor. (No, "Kaper" isn't her real name, but she answers to it.) She introduced us to geocaching in 2004, while we were gathered for our son’s wedding in Oregon. Besides geocaching, she also shares our enthusiasm for hiking, cycling and birding, so we thought it appropriate to place “her cache” in an outdoor recreation area.
The cache is a camoed film canister. It is near a picnic area, with parking and restrooms, but is far enough away, along a path, that you can get away from muggles.
This is a fee area in the summer, but there a lots of caches to find here, so is worth the entrance fee. This should be accessible all year, and is near the ski trails, if you want to use them in the winter (or for walking in the summer).
