A large bison tube but still considered a micro. There is a pencil but you still might want to bring your own. Just a few paces off the path. No bushwhacking necessary.
Cinquoteck, once the site of an Indian village became part of a large land grant made to Captain John West in 1664. In 1691, an act by the General Assembly arranged the purchase from the plantation of 50 acres of land for the development and designated the town as a point of entry and authorized the town to qualify as a free borough. This town was to be called Delaware Town, named in honor of the former Royal Governor, Baron De La Warr (July 9, 1577 – June 7, 1618). There is also a state, river and a bay to our north, named after this same Baron. A rail line was completed in 1859 to White House across the river and, in 1860, an iron drawbridge was built across the river.
All of this was destroyed during the Civil War.
