This is the 7th in a series intended to introduce you to the many Urban Trails we have here in Colorado Springs.
You'll be looking for a small tupperware container.
This is a short spur off the Palmer-Mesa Trail running from Holmes Middle School and connecting to Sondermann Park and Beidleman Environmental Center. This trail is 2.15 miles one way, gravel surface and utility road. A number of side trails run off Mesa Valley Trail into grassy meadows and small canyons. These side trails are ‘hiking only’.
For the full trail experience, from I-25, go west on Uintah and north on Mesa. Park at Holmes Middle School; or from I-25, go west on Uintah, right on Chestnut and left on Caramillo to the Beidleman Environmental Center.
Congratulations to Hartsdale for being the FTF.
