Geocache Description:

This short multi cache takes you on a short walk around a by-gone bridge and its replacement that some old folks may remember being built.

At the first, second and third waypoints you will not find a container however you will find two plaques and a sign that has information you will need to solve to find the final location of the cache.

The final cache location is a 5 litre bucket containing a logbook, pencil, pencil sharpner and various trades including an Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy cd, some plastic puzzles and various other trades.

To find the location of the final you need to find the numbers from the two plaques and a no parking sign and assign the letters A to Q with numbers found:
  • the year the old bridge was built was ABCD
  • the span of the old bridge was is a E digit number
  • the date the new bridge was opened is FG/HI/JKLM (NZ date format - day/month/year)
  • the number of councillors mentioned on the plaque at the opening of the new bridge is NO
  • the second digit from the top on the tow away sign is P
  • the second digit of the street address number of the tow away company is Q

The final cache will be found at S45 QP.BDC E170 EI.POG. Please hide again carefully as it is a large cache and if not hidden well will be easily muggled
