9m. Paved but not ideal to get to due access to paths across busy road.
How many times have you driven past here and thought - i wonder why these are there? Well nearby to the cache is a plaque stating -
This City is indebted to the generosity of the estate of the late
GEORGE H CARTER
by whose bequest these roadside gardens were made possible -1955-
So, beautiful spots all over Wellington (and undoubtedly the country) are only there due to inidividuals generosity. This cache is hopefully bringing more people here - and a big thumbs up to George.
The cache is a clear 200ml square Sistema container (with camo tape on) with blue clips, not much bigger than an adult clenched fist.

Please make sure to replace and hide as found as i suspect this may be a popular spot at night!
NOTE - a few finders have reported coming across various items of nighttime frivolity - please be aware that you may come across these types of items but hopefully you may be able to still enjoy the location.
