Geocache Description:

Burscough to Tarleton Canal is a branch of the Leeds Liverpool canal and was to be closed by the British Waterways. However, British opinion was so great they made the Ribble Link, thus linking Lancaster and Leeds / Liverpool canals at Preston.

If you want an ice cream this is the place to go (by car on the A59 when you have finished)
