This cache is located near the Ruighoek Dam hide. At about 3 meters above the ground it is still easy reachable.
Ruighoek Dam is a natural catchment area surrounded by 4 prominent habitats – water, hillside, grassland and woodlands. As a result many species occur, especially those dependent on water. A wide variety of trees including Karee, African Olive, Shephards-tree and buffalo-thorn Jubube makes this an excellent area for birds and game.
