Geocache Description:

cache is a film canister, byop

This cache is located along a very popular promenade so it's a VERY busy area - you'll have to be very careful of muggles. We found that sitting and "enjoying the view" with your companion provides a great body shield. please be super careful to hide it back well as this cache has a history of being muggled fairly often. (also a warning - I wouldn't drop your most treasured travel bug here)

Please note where you're from in the log, should be interesting to see where cachers are from since this will mostly be travelers I expect!

muchas gracias to anchornm for replacing the cache most recently (11/18/2009) after being muggled!! thanks to garyiii, scratch1, Elk Grove Treasure Hunters and "Scorpion and Lion Kings" before that.

gracias to Bruce, HH242, who's agreed to help me maintain this cache!!

and congrats to foxter for their very first FTF!! :)

Los Arcos Amphitheater, or Aquiles Serdan Theater, is known for its four stone arches which have become a symbol of the city.

Here free performances are given nearly every night to the delight of locals and visitors.

Street vendors offer an array of native food and artisans set up their wares for inspection.

It is also a perfect spot to watch the sun set behind the natural arches of Los Arcos and beyond to the horizon of Banderas Bay.
