Geocache Description:

Located in the Bulldog Canyon, Off Highway Area of the Tonto National Forest. The Bush Highway will get you the closest to this cache. Either park along the highway or go in the "North" (Blue Point) gate, N33 33.053 W 111 34.894. There is a combination lock on this gate. To get the combination you must obtain a permit from the Forest Service located at 5140 Ingram St. in Mesa (Southwest corner of Higley & McKellips). Driving in on the forest road will save you approx 2 1/2 miles hiking each way. High ground clearance or 4X4 recomended. This is an off road desert hike so wear tough shoes and beware of sticky things.
If you drive in, and park at the alternate parking waypoint, it is about a 1 1/4 mi. hike to the cache, with a gain in elevation of almost 750 ft. Of course, you have to go down into a small valley befor you can go up, so the elev. gain is more like 850 ft. in the last 3/4 - 1 mi.

The safest and/or best aproach is from the S/SW, heading E, crossing a small valley then up the slope to the ridge line, then following the ridge to the cache.

From the cache site there is a fantastically beautiful 360* panoramic view of the entire valley.

Cache is an Ammo can. There is also a small first-aid kit in the cache for cuts & scrapes obtained on the way up.

For the FTF prize, there is an un-activated geocoin.
