This cache is located at the newly restored Dixmont Hospital Cemetery. A group of over 50 volunteers (including myself "team Wildchld97" and "Tangent and the Geopoet") gathered in May of 2007 to turn a virtual jungle created by over 30 years of neglect, into a place where people could pay their respects. This cache is dedicated to all of those who helped give these patients the dignity in death that they didn't get in life.
We are currently looking for others to help keep this cemetery looking good. Anything that you can do to help would be greatly appreciated. There isn't very much trash to CITO, but if you clear away a few branches or pull some weeds from some of the graves on your way in/out...it would be a huge help.
Please respect the cemetery. DO NOT cache at night. Please rehide the cache well.
