This cache is located in the Eastern Sierra’s off Highway 158 near the community of June Lake. The elevation is 7,648 feet.
Park at the Yost Creek trailhead (N 37 45.772, W 119 06.799) and proceed up the trail for approximately ½ mile to the cache site.
The cache is a large camouflaged peanut container full of geo-swag that’s located on the trail adjacent to a large fallen tree that blocks the trail. You can either climb over the tree or navigate around it to the cache. The outstanding view from here overlooks the Double Eagle Resort and onto Silver Lake in the distance.
