Geocache Description:

In Baltimore City's beautiful Leakin Park on the Gwynns Falls Trail. Getting to the cache area is a pretty easy, uphill, paved walk from the new parking lot off of Franklintown Road, however the cache is off-trail just a bit, just off a dirt path.

Bring a CD to exchange! The original cache contains a copy of the music we shared with our wedding guests.

We were married at this beautiful location in April of 2006 and we are placing this cache to celebrate our second anniversary!

In the clearing just before the bridge is where the bridesmaids and the bride hid out while the guests arrived at the bottom of the hill. The round, tiled area there is a stage for the surrounding grass amphitheater, but we used it as the setting for our wedding. The hillside was our backdrop. When the wedding began, each of the bridesmaids and groomsmen emerged from a different spot along the hill down to the "sanctuary". Then the bride and her father appeared from behind the huge tree at the top of the hill and came "down the aisle" all the way down the hillside. Idyllic!

This park is such a beautiful and special spot to us that we just had to share it. Bring your bike or your walking shoes and enjoy the newly finished Gwynns Falls Trail while you are there!

Music has always underscored our relationship, so we hope you will bring a CD special to you to exchange and share!

Please rehide the cache to keep out of view from the surrounding trails.

~CONGRATULATIONS TO FerretPack ON BEING THE FTF!~
