Geocache Description:


We found our first ever "first to find" last week so we thought it was about time we started giving back. This cache is the first in a series we are naming after our family members. This first cache is placed in honor of our faithful geocaching companion -- Ollie our golden retreiver. We thought he deserved the first treasure in honor of all of the bushwacking he has done, all of the hours he has spent tied to trees while we search for caches and for all of the ticks he has had plucked out of his skin when we get home. He never complains and is ALWAYS ready to go out to search for another cache.

So, in honor of him, this cache is stuffed full of dog toys for his fellow canines that also join their owners on the hunt. There is a special, extra large toy for the lucky puppy that is first to find. We would like to keep this cache full of dog related items so if you remove one, try and replace with an item our faithful companions will love. They all deserve it!!

This should not be a difficult find. Maybe a wee bit of bushwacking required but the ground is all level and it is not too far off the trail. We chose this park because it is our dogs favorite place for a walk.
