Geocache Description:

The Cinder Path is the abandoned railroad right-of-way of the Burlington-Northern Railroad. The Railroad was constructed in 1873 and 1874 and connected Chariton to St. Joseph and Kansas City. The entire trail stretches 13.5 miles. The Cinder Path became the first Rails-To-Trails area in the State of Iowa. The cache is a Altoids can painted to match it's surroundings. We couldn't agree if the block was cinder or cement. Log only. Bring a pencil. Gold dollar for FTF

Congrats The NVG on FTF
