Geocache Description:


After hiding a few caches we decided to hide our first LARGE container and for now it is the largest cache in Dawes County. This should give cachers a fun break from all those beloved micros. This cache can hold some items that would not normally be used for trade items so feel free to bring something large. It could be fun to share what you bring when logging this cache. I started with a few items such as a basketball, clock, hat, books, and a few other bigger items.

This cache is located near Carter P. Johnson Lake in the very scenic Fort Robinson State Park. You will need a park permit for your vehicle, but there are so many caches here that it will be worth it . There is a nice short walk to the cache with some good views and wildlife. Keep an eye out for the occasional snake, and ticks are difficult to avoid in this area so do the obvious check over when you get back to the car. It should be an easy find. Hope you have fun with the larger trade items.
