Geocache Description:

Similar to songbirds, shorebirds and waterfowl but with a longer walk, more variety, and a bigger cache at the end.

I have quite a penchant for wetland areas and wandering so once I checked out the trail to the south I simply had to follow the rail trail north to see what else was out here. I am almost ashamed of putting out not just 1 but 2 rail trail caches but I was so enamored with the area I thought I would share.

Yes it is a long straight hike of over 1.5 km each way if you approach from the south. Bring some binoculars for viewing, a friend for good company, or just enjoy a bit of solitude.

Please note that you cannot access the trail from con 1 so it will be a bit of a walk.
