Every motorcycle rally we put out a new cache in the Ruidoso area, just one, we broke that rule this year.
We decided before we left the September ‘07 motorcycle rally that we would hide a cache at a certain place. Mother Nature had decided the area needed some precipitation this weekend and the forest was closed (no fires or open flame) because of dry conditions. So with the prospect of no grillin and thunderheads above, we hid another cache close to our accommodations thinking that would be the best we would be able to do. Here it is.
You can drive very close to the cache but shouldn’t. You should park on the main street above. The Cache is a bison tube.
