Fisherman’s Friend – SCAR08 Traditional Cache

Bitzer: Not there and not found after a few minutes of looking around. Drat. I would have replaced the missing cache, but (i) the host has been bent a bit since I first placed it and so the cache container could not be replaced securely; and (ii) even though I have looked for over three years, I can't find another container like the one I used here.

Geocache Description:


The cache is hidden in an area where many muggles pass by, so please use stealth as you retrieve and replace the cache. The site is downtown and so GPSr readings are often erratic. The coordinates were obtained by averaging over 200 readings and should be accurate to within 16 feet. One thing is certain – the cache is NOT hidden in or on the road. You will need your own writing implement; please return the cache to its original hiding place once you have signed the log, and make sure it is secure.

This cache was placed for the SCAR08 event and will not be available until 5:30 PM, May 30, 2008. All logs posted before this time will be deleted.
