Geocache Description:

Located in Scholes, a village close to Holmfirth. The cache is located on the pavement on a very public crossroads and you will have to look out for muggles before grabbing the cache. Bring a pen with you.

Scholes is a village in the "Last of the Summer Wine" filming area close to Holmfirth. Roy Castle, the late entertainer, was born in Scholes. Also in 2000 Scholes Cricket Club became famous for a night-time game of nude cricket www.scholescc.co.uk . This busy crossroads causes amusement for first time visitors as they are not expecting a visit to France whilst travelling through Yorkshire. Filming of "Last of The Summer Wine" still takes place in the Village every summer and the green on White Wells Road is regularly used for Bus Stop scenes.
