Geocache Description:


The above coordinates are for Stage one. At the parking area there is room for one or two cars. This is a two-part cache that takes you to an overlook located in Oil Creek State Park. The final cache is a 7.62mm ammo can hidden just off of the Gerard Hiking Trail. This area is open to hunting, so be sure to wear fluorescent orange in hunting seasons. Also the Park closes at sunset, so plan accordingly. It's a just over a half mile walk on the trail. The trail is easily followed, and is marked by yellow blazes on the trees. At the trail head be sure to check out the informational sign about deer exclosures. Also take a look at the deer exclosure at the beginning of the trail. The walk to the first stage is almost all uphill and a little muddy in spots. Near the first stage is a bench you can sit and take a rest. You will be looking out over Wildcat Hollow. The building and grassy area you see is the park office. From stage one to the final is the steepest part. If I was giving you a hint and I’m not. I would walk on up the trail from stage one to where it levels off a bit then go to the right and up then double back to the final. But since I’m not giving you a hint its up to you how you get there.
