Geocache Description:

Located just off the trail at the Milford Recreation Association

The Milford Recreation Association Trails were first cut in 1992. Since then work has been done on a regular basis to keep the trails in good shape. Juan, off course, did extensive damage to the area and the members of the Milford & District Lions Club did a lot of work clearing windfalls and other damage. Other storms over the years have added to the damage but the area is slowly growing back up. The trail around the outer edge of the park is approximately 1.8 km and the trail is in good shape (easy walking) but can be wet depending on the season and weather.
We occasionally see deer along the trail and there are lots of rabbits and pheasants.
The cache is located near a large pine tree with a bench close to it. The bench is a good place to sit and relax for a bit.
Cache would be a large micro or small/small (camoed sucrets package) depending on how you look at it. It contains a log book and writing stick.
