Geocache Description:

A baby coke bottle, hidden close to highway 7.

Several years ago, when my middle daughter was 16, she decided to drive the family van into this gaurdrail on the way home from school. Besides totaling our "good" vehicle, it also did a lot of damage to the guardrail on the East side of the highway here. You will notice that the rail on the West side, is not so new as the one on the other side. I found out that these are not cheap things! We should not take these for granted, when we casually hide a cache on one!
When there is an accident involving State property, the Troopers are pretty serious about making sure that your insurance pays for any damage to signs, culverts, GUARDRAILS, etc. I don't remember the exact amount of the bill (selective memory), but rest assured, it was more than you would think! So now that I have paid for at least half of this bridge, I think I am at least entitled to hide a cache near it!
You don't have to get into the road to retrieve this cache, so don't, and BE CAREFUL! You never know when she might come screaming around that corner again!
There is a nice place to pull off and park, about 30 feet to the North of the cache.
