This is a short hike off of Highway 97 along the old Highway 97 to see the grave site of Tom Clegg who was killed for his gold in 1863. You can park along the highway based on the coordinates posted below. It is then just a short walk from there. If you would like to lengthen you hike turn left at the grave site and follow the path to the San Jose River.
Located in ammo box when placed are a Canadian GeoCoin, compass, Canadian pens, Canadian magnetic clip along with winnei the pooh notepads, logboock with pencil and eraser.
