Welcome back to Iron Hill Park.
This cache is placed to commemorate the rebirth of Iron Hill
Park. The park has been shut down for months as the county has
worked hard to make the park a positive part of our community.
There is a new Iron
hill friends group that has its own web site check it out.
FIRST TO FIND: CONGRATULATIONS LadyH
First to this cache will get a 2005 limited edition Delugly
geocoin.
WHAT HAS CHANGED:
For the kids a new nationally recognized play structure has been
installed!
For the dogs a brand new Bark park has been installed catering
to both big and small dogs!
The park now contains the world largest Frisbee golf 18 hole
course, check out the Delaware Disk golf web site web site for more
information on the sport.
The Mountain Biking trails have been revitalized so bring your
mountain bike and ride through the 335 open acres! Also check out
the local Mountain biking group the Delaware Trail Spinners.
GEOCACHING IN THE PARK:
The county has been very receptive to Geocaching and there are
currently 6 other caches in the park with room for many many more.
So come up with some good ideas for your very own.
