Geocache Description:

Please note:
The 3 terrain and difficulty ratings are due to the difficulty of retrieving the cache. Although you can park within 10 feet of the cache the thorns you will encounter are really bad news. Use care and you can get the cache. After all I did manage to place it.

These are the first I've seen in New Mexico but they are/were common in the midwest. I'm sure there are more around here due to their agricultural history . Note that there are both male and female trees.

Interesting history concerning this tree: (visit link)

The cache contains a log and a few trade items. The container can be a little hard to close but that's what should keep it water tight.

Be Careful both parking and with the thorns.
