Night Eyes Too Mystery Cache
rock&crystal: In spite of a few DNFs the cache was still on the ground until recent forest floor clearing by CalFire. We have decided to archive the cache to clear the way for others to place a fresh cache. Warning: there is a final cache for State of Jefferson Counties Challenge (GC1TVK1) placed just over a tenth of a mile from these coordinates. We might wait til the park is a little less used to remove the eyes... folks take note when someone is carrying a 10' ladder around the woods!! R&C [:o]

This is a night cache replacing Night Eyes (GCH4ZY). Cal-Fire has been through the area clearing the underbrush in recent months, and the cache was removed during cleanup and archived.
The woods are full of critters at night. Do you dare follow the eyes?
Park at N39 47.187 W121 35.379 near the kiosk and dog park. With a good flashlite, look to the woods and follow the eyes staring back at you. It might be wise to do a bread crumb so you won't get lost coming back. As you walk you will count 9 pairs of eyes (some may wink at you). The eyes will be about ten feet up in the trees along the path, until you run out of eyes. At that point, look to the forest floor for a set of eyes of the cache guardian. There lies the treasure, in a small lock&lock box.
There used to be a light on until about midnight in the parking area, however that seems random at best these days, so it will probably be dark unless there are activities at the ball park. Watch for muggles
There might be a few extra sets of eyes watching you that don't glow... enjoy the night.
