This is a micro cache hidden near the eastern parking lot and
staging area for those using the Lafayette-Moraga Regional Trail.
This is a popular trail for walkers, joggers, and bike riders in
the area. After finding the cache, you might wish to head west and
take a nice walk on the trail. Bikers can follow it out past
St. Mary's College all the way to Moraga. There are a number of caches
along the way.
Experienced cachers may have seen this type of camo/hide before;
new cachers may find it a bit more challenging. To get the most fun out
of the hide, I'd suggest not using the hint until you really need to.
This is a popular trail, so expect muggles to be coming and
going most times of the day. The parking lot is gated, and is posted as
being open from 5:30 AM until 10:00 PM. The gates close after dark.
Please do not hunt this cache when the parking area is closed.
You may not park on Olympic Blvd.
Terrain was rated as 1.5 because of the difficulty (due to
gravel) it might pose for those using wheelchairs.
