Geocache Description:

Intersection of Rt 22. and Rt. 543

In my senior year of high school, Joppatowne High in 1987, I had a history teacher named Mrs. Williams. This teacher made a difference in my life. She got me interested in history. I was not a very academic student. I did fairly well, but never really applied myself. As a result of having this teacher I have pursued all different aspects of education. Her passion for teaching led me to actually becoming a guitar teacher. Here is to you Mrs. Williams!

Now for the cache: At this site was located the Fountain Green Hospital. After WWII the shift from home born children to children being born in hospitals was made. Before Harford Memorial and Fallston General Hospitals were built this hospital acted as a maternity hospital. The hospital was actually just a house. The house was owned by Mr and Mrs. Edwards. The retail store there now has maintained the health theme. Have fun!
