Did you know this park was even here? It is tucked away behind the Library and some county buildings. East Orange Park has been spruced up recently with the addition of a nice playground and picnic area.
My thanks to John Robb of Orange County Parks and Recreation Department for approving the placement of this cache initially. If you are thinking about placing a cache in Orange Co. FL parks there are a few regulations and you must obtain a permit and update it annually. For details contact Alicia M. Baxter, CPRP, Program Manager Orange County Parks & Recreation. That being said, I hope you enjoy your visit to this nice small park. There is no entry fee and the park closes at night.
You are looking for a camouflaged "peanut butter jar". Please don't strip off the fake vines! From the coordinates, you may need to go into the woods about 6-8 feet and roughly at shoulder height. Hopefully it will be hard to spot. The park can be full of muggles some times and quite quiet at others.
