This Letterbox Hybrid Cache will take you on a stroll through Spring Grove Park in Jamestown, MI. With 16 acres of towering trees, a few short trails, and a flowing spring, this park is a great place for a family picnic, or just to bring the Micro cachers to play on the playground equipment.
As with all Letterbox caches, we have our stamp in the container. Please use this to stamp your book and use yours to stamp the logbook. If you do not have a stamp, please draw a picture for us and future cachers to enjoy.
Once you arrive at the park, go to the posted coordinates. You will be standing where a large rock with a plaque on it dedicating the park to all of the Men and Women from Jamestown who served in the Armed Forces used to stand
From here, follow the trail that heads East. You will soon come up on a bridge, proceed over it and continue following the trail enjoying the sights and sounds of the slow moving creek.
As you continue walking, you will come up to the Jamestown Spring, circle around the spring following the trail back the way you came. When you come up to a stone pathway leading to another small bridge, follow the path, cross the bridge and go up the stairs.
Once at the top, head West to the large green and tan structure. For a little fun, get up on the structure and then slide down to the South. Stand up and walk straight to the woods, you will see a trail going in. Follow the trail along and you will come upon a cement foundation on your left. Don't stop, continue done the trail until it splits into a "Y" then follow the trail to the left through the SECOND cement foundation and then back up and around. Proceed just a short distance further on the same trail until you reach the "gateway of trees" marked by two lovebugs. (Two trees across from each other, one on each side of the path with carved initials in them. There is also an arrow on the left tree that points in the hide direction)
From that point, look to the North another 50 or so feet for the doorway to Micros Treehouse.
Now, go get the cache!!! The container is larger than a small and smaller than a regular. PLEASE take your time and replace the container how it is supposed to be. It is a little difficult, but it is possible.
