Geocache Description:

A nice rest stop with a pleasant view.

Chamber Memorial Park is in Federalsburg Maryland, the park was formed in 1938 according to the old mill stones standing sentries at the entrance to the park. The park is surprisingly isolated and natural even as it is located in side town limits. You will be following fishing hole trails, and deer trails to the cache, The bad part. The good part is very little in the way of briars. When I used to teach in Federalsburg this park and pond provided a great lunch break to watch the animals. Animals I have seen in the past. Deer, squirrels, red foxes, turtles, herons, hawks, Bald Eagles, lots of other smaller birds, the occasional snake, and probably more that I just can't remember. The container is a waterproof clear drinking bottle large enough for small swag (matchbox cars etc) contains log book and pencil and a few goodies.
