Geocache Description:

Depending on when you look for the cache, it can be very easy or you might have to use quite a bit of stealth. The cache is a micro and you'll need something to write with.


The cache is located in Centennial Park which is also home to the Port of Orillia. The Port of Orillia is located on the shores of Lake Couchiching which is part of the Trent-Severn Waterway. Once you're here, sit down, relax and enjoy the view. You can also walk around and see all the interesting things the area has to offer including the Champlain Monument in the adjacent Couchiching Beach Park, historical plaques, a miniature train ride and a couple of playgrounds. Throughout the year the park is also home to many events including a winter carnival, a boat show in the spring and Canada Day celebrations in the summer. I hope you take the time to explore the area and enjoy what Orillia has to offer.
