Great hike with great views of Lysefjord, Preikestolen, Mosli Varden and the Forsand Bridge.
This cache can be done in combination with Preikestolhytta, Preikestolen, and, if one is ambitious, Moslivarden. It is MICROCACHE in the backcountry. As such, though it was not meant to be particularly difficult to find, it was not meant to be particularly easy either. No whining please. After all, if all caches were equally easy, then what fun would it be!
The main point of the cache is to increase awarness of this summit, to which many visitors to Preikestolen are oblivious.
After Tjødnane on the way to Preikestolen take the Hill trail. After cresting the saddle find a trail to the right toward the summit of Neverdalsfjell (708 moh). Afterward one can descend to Preikestolen (604 moh).
BRING YOUR OWN WRITING UTENSIL.
This may be the cure for caching fever; the cache container is a child's medicine dropper bottle.
Also, in order to keep this cache in good condition, please come prepared with some scotch tape and paper in case the log is full or is otherwise in need of repair. The log is supposed to be taped to and wrapped around the dropper. The owner is has moved out of the country and cannot maintain it.
