Geocache Description:

Cache placed on Ballyhenry Island.

When heading from Kircubbin look out for the Abbacy road on the right handside. Now follow this narrow and twisting road round to Ground Zero. There is a small layby to park in and an information board. This is a National Trust maintained Island so please respect the area and be aware that for around 30 minutes at high tide the island can not be walked to. The Island has a track running round the it so is quite easy to walk on but is not suitable for prams/strollers but my kids loved running in the long grass.

The cache is a small plastic container filled with kid friendly swaps. Please do not remove the pencil from the cache.

After your search you can follow the road on down and in to Portaferry. When the sun is out there is Sail boats in the water this area is a beautiful viewpoint.

Also this is a great area for Bird watchers and if I knew better I could list a few which I seen.
