This cache was hidden during the Cache-cadian Hike of the Month. Our mission was to hike Horselake Mountain and reach each of the twin peaks. We stopped along the way to take in this beautiful view of Mission Ridge.
We had a great group of 11 people; good weather, good caching, good conversation, good hiking!
There is parking at the trailhead/gate for about 3-4 vehicles at the end of #2 Canyon Rd. The road is dirt and can be very rutted and muddy. At the time of the cache being hidden, 4 wheel drive was necessary to drive from pavement to where the gate is.
The hike is along an old road and is dirt. It is a great road with some elevation gain to this cache but it is relatively gradual.
