Geocache Description:

Note: English description is below the photo

Dar vienas trupinelis istorijos. Lobis pasleptas naujojo Zemaiciu plento, jungiancio Kauna ir Klaipeda, pradzioje. Plentas baigtas statyti 1939 liepos 9.d.

N 54 55.(NNN-52)
E 23 53.(2*NNN+88)

A bit of Kaunas history. The cache is hidden near the New Samogitian highway connecting Kaunas and Klaipeda. It was completed on 9th July 1939. At the begining of the highway a monumet was erected to commemorate the construction. Some say the obelisk is a tribute to horses that dies during road construction. From the photo above you can clearly see the horses were used to build the road.

My attempt to mark the highway on Google maps.

There was now suitable place for cache near obelisk. So I made it a multi-cache. At the published location you need to find a three-digit number NNN and do some simple maths:

N 54 55.(NNN-52)
E 23 53.(2*NNN+88)
