This cache is hidden a short walk from the mausoleum known as the Blickling Pyramid, also the site of a cache archived in 2006. It is located in the National Trust owned Blickling Park, which is open from dawn to dusk all year round.
There is a large car park at N 52° 48.630 E 001° 13.621.
From here you can also easily visit the hall and gardens. Anne Boleyn may have been born at the hall, she certainly spent her childhood there. Her headless ghost is said to still haunt it.
There are maps at the edge of the main car park which show the circular walk which goes to the mausoleum. For a shorter walk use the (much smaller) car park at N 52° 49.302 E 001° 12.382.
The terrain rating is for the longer walk.
The cache is a small lock / lock box. When placed it contained an FTF badge, two mini torches (the red one needs to be 'activated' to make it work), a key ring, a slice of agate, some mini post-its, two pens, a pencil, a fridge magnet, a still valid internet card and the 'Park Life Wanderer' geocoin.
It is possible to get right to it without having to go through any brambles. This is our first cache hide, hope you enjoy it.
Update 14/8/2013 - I visited the cache yesterday - it took a while to find it! The original hiding place has partly collapsed, so the original hint no longer works. Thanks to whoever found the new spot - it's only a few feet from the original so the co-ordinates should still get you there. The new hint will be very obvious.
