Geocache Description:

A small tupperware container hidden close to Hungary House, part of the Gosford House Estate.

Hungary House is a derelict building at the eastern extremity of the Gosford House estate. Unfortunately I have not yet managed to find any details of the history of the building and do not know what it was used for. It must have been inhabited relatively recently as there are phone lines running to the building. If you know any more about the house then please let me know and I will enrich the cache listing.

Gosford House is the family seat of the Earls of Wemyss and March. It is open to the public in the summer. Further information on the Gosford House Estate can be found here.

The cache itself is hidden just off the public footpath from Aberlady to Spittal and is not located within the Gosford House Estate boundary.

The cache can almost be seen from my house so make sure you give me a wave when you round the corner heading towards Aberlady from the cache!
