This was the site of the old hotel – now long gone except for the memories. Cache is in an unusual container. Please take care when retrieving and return as found. You will need a writing stick. No trade items. Enjoy.
Welcome to McNutts Island. McNutt's Island is located at the mouth of Shelburne Harbour. Its history goes back to the arrival of the Loyalists, when Alexander McNutt brought a group of settlers to his New Jerusalem. Settled sporadically since then, it enjoyed a thriving community in the 1920’s, complete with cannery, dance hall, schoolhouse and, for a short time, a hotel. Today the island is a collection of camps. Enjoy your day exploring the many delights and mysteries of McNutts. Please respect the islands residents and follow CITO.
